The Rebellion of Gratitude

In a society that preaches hyperconsumption, gratitude is the greatest act of rebellion.

When we are grateful for who we are and what we have, the incessant noise compelling us to, 'consume, consume,' gets a little bit quieter.

The more grateful we are, the less hold our capitalist culture has on our psyche.

This is the greatest act of rebellion we can take.

Today, during the most Holy of holidays, Thanksgiving, I encourage you to foster an attitude of gratitude that will be able to withstand the pressures of consumption that will ramp up to eleven tomorrow on Darkness Friday.

Use today to start a revolution. Begin a habit of gratitude that you can take with into a better future.

Rebellious gratitude is the kernal of hope needed to craft a better tomorrow.
