Terminal Bear?
Hey there,
I have a bit of a quandary.
There is a question I would like to ask the Bear Blog community, but I don't know how.
I don't know the best place to ask. All I can think is to ask here.
But, if I ask here, I don't know of a reliable way to receive an answer and maintain this anonymous persona.
So, I guess my only option is hope.
My only option is to ask the Void and hope that through the kindness of strangers, the Void speaks back.
If you'll follow with me, let's try to exercise the collaborative nature of humanity.
I feel bad that this exercise is for my benefit, but I hope that it becomes more about the journey and less the destination in a way that benefits all who can participate.
My Question
I enjoy using terminal applications and keeping my work inside the terminal.
One of the few programs preventing me from using the terminal full-time is the browser.
The main reason I need a GUI browser instead of a TUI one like W3M is that Bear doesn't work in W3M or any other terminal browser I've tried.
My question is: is there any way to post to Bear from within the terminal? Are there any terminal browsers that that work with Bear? Is there a way to post to Bear without using a browser at all?
How to Answer
If you have an answer to my question, the only way I will see it is through a reply blog.
Bear has enough tools build in that I should be able to find your reply, but to make things easier, if your title is "re: 'my title'" I can use the search function more effectively. Also, if you link to my post inside of yours, your blog will show up in my analytics. Last, if your post makes it to the Trending Feed page, I will see it inside my RSS reader. So, even if you don't have an answer, I'd appreciate it if you like posts that do have an answer.
Here's to hoping in the power of the Void.
Thanks to anyone who can help in any way!
